SHEWFEST - July 2022
This is what started it all…
SHEWFEST 2022 was our very first event and the planning for this event was when the name was created - Spirit of Home ed Wales. We had a fabulous day bringing home educators together from different parts of South Wales in celebration of our choice to Home Educate.
Our aim is keep our events low cost / Free and full of fun and laughter.

Autumn Fayre Oct 2022
Following on from SHEWFEST we held our first Autumn Fayre at The Grange Pavillion in Grange Town Cardiff, This is the venue we run Home Education Wales sessions from and we thought it would be a great venue to hold some our SHEW events.
The day was a great success with so many activities on offer and we ended the day with a beautiful Advent Spiral.
Bluestone - February 2023
Wow what an Amazing week we all had at Bluestone Wales, a massive thank you to all the families that united as we work together to change the narrative that surrounds home education. 58 Families attended Bluestone all together and it has filled us with joy to see all your fabulous photos together. We tried to fit as much of it as we could into one reel. Thank you so much to all those that sent in their photos and video clips, it really helped us to show how much fun we all had! ❤️ We're looking forward to a bigger and better SHEW @Bluestone in 2024.

MAY DAY FUN DAY 2023
Our May Day Fun Day was a last minute event that we put together in record time! The idea of this free event was to bring the community together to celebrate Home Education and share this choice in a positive way, we asked some of the children that attended what they thought about home education and what it meant to them.
